Project Summary
In mid-2023, Chanson D’Argent Holdings Development Ltd. engaged Key Systems Solutions to address issues with the installation of a new IP encoder for their access control system. Following an initial consultation, we initiated a remote session to assess and resolve the problem efficiently.
During the diagnostic process, it became evident that the existing Salto system was running an outdated version of the software. We promptly performed a full system upgrade to ensure compatibility with the new hardware. Once the upgrade was completed, the encoder installation proceeded successfully. Impressed by the responsiveness and technical support, the client initiated further discussions to explore enhancements to the overall security infrastructure.
Challenges and Solution
One of the main concerns raised by the client was the need to secure both the main entrance and the on-site gym, which were being accessed by unauthorized individuals. However, the client emphasized the importance of maintaining a seamless and positive experience for guests. To address this, we proposed the installation of our access control unit and reader system, integrated with magnetic locks. This solution allowed guests to use their existing room keys for secure, convenient access to restricted areas without any disruption to their stay.
