Park Hyatt - St. Kitts

Project Summary

Key System Solutions was commissioned to implement lighting and HVAC control systems in 126 guest-rooms, Access Control in both the guest rooms and an additional 75 back of house points and an additional (but seperate) lighting control system for the common areas at the Park Hyatt hotel in St. Kitts. 

For this project KSS provided consultation and design services, advising on the system layout and providing shop and as-built drawings for the 12 different room types throughout the property, as well as supply, installation and commissioning of the systems themselves. All designed to meet Hyatt’s stringent technology, energy management and quality requirements, without compromising the guest comfort or experience  experience.

To ensure the highest level of quality and guest convenience at this 5-star property, Honeywell and SALTO were chosen to provide seamless and fully integrated automation between the Access Control, HVAC and Lighting Control systems in each room. 

Acting as the backbone of the system, the INNCOM system carries the SALTO information without the requirement of any additional wireless hardware, providing a cohesive and integrated network that supplies hotel management with real-time information from each room. 

Additionally, a wireless lighting control system control system from Lutron, consisting of motion sensors and load controllers, was utilised throughout the corridors.
